Wireless Settings
Note: After you have made your
changes, click Save Settings to apply your
changes.
To manually configure your
wireless networks, select Manual. To use
Wi-Fi Protected Setup, select Wi-Fi Protected
Setup. Go to the instructions for your selection.
Note: Wi-Fi Protected Setup is
a feature that makes it easy to set up your wireless network. If you
have client devices, such as wireless printers, that support Wi-Fi
Protected Setup, then you can use Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
Wireless Configuration (Manual)

GHz/2.4 GHz Wireless Settings
Network Mode
Select the wireless standards
your network will support.
Network Name (SSID)
Enter the name of your wireless network.
Security Mode
Select security type to use.
Passphrase
Enter a passphrase of 8-63 characters.
Channel Width
Select the radio channel width
for your Wireless-N devices.
Channel
Select the radio channel that
the Router will use.
SSID Broadcast
When wireless devices survey
the local area for wireless networks to associate with, they will
detect the SSID (wireless network name) broadcast by the Router. To
broadcast the Router’s SSID, keep the default,
Enabled.
Wi-Fi Protected Setup?
Wi-Fi Protected Setup LED
Activity

The Wi-Fi Protected Setup LED
flashes blue for two minutes during the Wi-Fi Protected Setup
process and lights up blue when the Wi-Fi Protected Setup process is
successful.

The LED lights up amber for two
minutes if there is an error during the Wi?Fi
Protected Setup process.
.
Wait until the LED is continuously
lit or off, before starting the next Wi-Fi Protected Setup session.
Use the Wi-Fi
Protected Setup Button
Use this method if your
client device has a Wi-Fi Protected Setup button.
Note: Make sure you configure one
client device at a time.
1.
Click or press the Wi-Fi Protected Setup
button on the client device.
2.
Click the Wi-Fi Protected Setup
button on the Router’s Wi-Fi Protected Setup
screen.
3.
After the client device has been configured, click
OK on the
Router’s Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen
within two minutes.
Enter the client
device’s PIN on the Router
Use this method if your
client device has a Wi-Fi Protected Setup PIN (Personal
Identification Number).
1.
Enter the PIN from the client device in the
field on the Router’s Wi-Fi Protected
Setup screen.
2.
Click the Register
button on the
Router’s Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen.
3.
After the client device has been configured, click
OK on the
Router’s Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen
within two minutes.
Enter the Router’s
PIN on your client device
Use this method if your
client device asks for the Router’s PIN.
1.
On the client device, enter the PIN listed on the Router’s
Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen. (It is
also listed on the bottom of the Router.)
2.
After the client device has been configured, click
OK on the
Router’s Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen
within two minutes.
