I received 'Your router was not successfully setup' message

Reset your router by pressing and holding the red Reset button on the rear panel until the lights on the router start blinking. Need to restart your modem.

This error indicates the modem and router are connected, but the Internet is not working. Restarting the modem is usually the best troubleshooting step.
