Ping The Ping program tries to reach a remote host. By setting up the ip address or the host name of the remote hosts and the numbers of times to the ping session. Once the task is accomplished ,it shows the results and the statistics on the screen.

Traceroute

 

 The Traceroute is a network debugging utility that attempts to trace the path an IP datagram follows from our host to some other destination. By setting up the destination ip address or host name and enable the tracing session.
It immediately lists the sites that the datagram has passed on the screen.
