The Router
offers a Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS) feature. DDNS lets you
assign a fixed host and domain name to a dynamic Internet IP
address. It is useful when you are hosting your own website, FTP
server, or other server behind the Router. Before you can use this
feature, you need to sign up for DDNS service at
www.dyndns.org
orwww.TZO.com
DDNS service providers.
DynDNS.org |
You must sign up
for an account with DynDNS.org before you can use this service.

User Name: |
Enter the user name from DynDNS.org |
Password: |
Enter the password from DynDNS.org |
Host Name |
Enter your host name. This should be in the format of name.dyndns.org. |
System |
Select the DynDNS service you use:
Dynamic, Static, or Custom. |
Mail Exchange (Optional) |
Enter the address of your mail exchange server, so the e-mail to your
DynDNS address go to your mail server. |
Backup MX |
This feature
allows the mail exchange server to be a backup. To enable this
feature, keep0 the default, Enabled.To disable this
feature, select Disable. if you are not sure, which
seting to select, keep the default, Enabled. |
Wildcard |
This setting
enables or disables wildcard for your host. For example, if your
DDNS address is myplace.dyndns.org and you enable wildcard, then
the x.myplace.dyndns.org will work as well (x is the wildcard).
To enable wildcards, keep the default, Enabled. To
disable wildcard, select Disabled. If you are not sure
which to select, keep the default, Enabled. |

Change these settings as described here and click the Save Settings button
to apply your changes or Cancel Changes.
