Setup
The Setup screen is the first screen you will see when accessing the Wireless-G Range Expander. Use this screen to alter general settings.
After you
have configured these settings, you should set a new password for the
Range
Expander (using the
Password screen). This will increase
security, protecting the Range
Expander from
unauthorized changes.

Firmware should only be upgraded from the Help screen if you experience
problems with the Range
Expander.
Visit www.linksys.com to find
out if there is updated firmware. |

The
SSID is the network name shared among all devices in a wireless network.
The SSID must be identical for all devices in the wireless network. It is
case-sensitive and must not exceed 32 alphanumeric characters, which may
be any keyboard character. Make sure this setting is the same for all
devices in your wireless network. For added security, Linksys recommends
that you change the default SSID (linksys) to a unique name of your

To
broadcast the Range Expander's SSID, select Enable. When wireless clients perform a

the Range Expander's SSID, then select Disable. |

Select
the appropriate channel from the list provided to correspond with your

must use the same channel in order to function correctly. |

(WEP). To enable Security Settings, click the Enable radio button. Then click
the Edit Security Settings
