Application and Gaming Tab / QoS


The QoS (Quality of Service) feature allows you specify priorities for different traffic. Lower priority traffic will be slowed down to allow greater throughput or less delay for high priority traffic.

Wireless
WMM Support (Default: Enabled)
Select the desired option:
  • Enabled
  • Disabled

No Acknowledgment (Default: Enabled)
Select the desired option:

  • Enabled
  • Disabled
Internet Access Priority To disable QoS (Quality of Service), keep the default setting, Disable. To enable QoS (Quality of Service), click Enable and follow these instructions:
 
Category Applications
Select the desired option:
  • Add a New Application
    (Once selected, please complete the following setups.)
    • Enter a Name
      Enter the Name for the Application here.
    • Port Range
      Enter the port range and protocol for the service here.
  • Priority
    Select the desired option:
    • High
    • Medium (Recommend)
    • Normal
    • Low
  • Add
    Click to add your QoS setting into the Summary list.

Online Games
Select the desired option:

  • Add a New Game
    (Once selected, please complete the following setups.)
    • Enter a Name
      Enter the Name for the Online Game here.
    • Port Range
      Enter the port range and protocol for the service here.
  • Priority
    Select the desired option:
    • High
    • Medium (Recommend)
    • Normal
    • Low
  • Add
    Click to add your QoS setting into the Summary list.

MAC Address
Complete the following setups:

  • Enter a Name
    Enter the Name for the Work Station here.
  • MAC Address
    Enter the MAC Address for the Work Station here.
  • Priority
    Select the desired option:
    • High
    • Medium (Recommend)
    • Normal
    • Low
  • Add
    Click to add your QoS setting into the Summary list.

Ethernet Port
Select the desired option:

  • Ethernet
    Select the desired option:
    • Ethernet Port 1
    • Ethernet Port 2
    • Ethernet Port 3
    • Ethernet Port 4
  • Priority
    Select the desired option:
    • High
    • Medium (Recommend)
    • Normal
    • Low
  • Add
    Click to add your QoS setting into the Summary list.
Summary This list the summary of your QoS setting.

Priority

The Priority of this Application, Online Game, MAC Address, or Ethernet Port.

Name

The Name of this Application, Online Game, MAC Address, or Ethernet Port.

Information

The general Information of this Application, Online Game, MAC Address, or Ethernet Port.

Remove button

Click to Remove this Application, Online Game, MAC Address, or Ethernet Port.

Edit button

Click to Edit this Application, Online Game, MAC Address, or Ethernet Port.


Click the Save Settings button to apply your changes or Cancel Changes button to cancel.
