UPnP
UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) allows automatic discovery and configuration
of equipment attached to the Local Area Network. UPnP allows enabled applications (for example, Windows ME or Windows XP)
to automatically manage the router.
- You can activate this function by selecting "Enable UPnP Services"
- If "Allow users to make configuration changes through UPnP" is checked, then UPnP users can change the configuration.
If this is not checked, UPnP users can only view the configuration.
- If "Allow users to disable Internet access" is checked, then UPnP users can disable the Router, blocking all Internet access via the Router.
If this is not checked, UPnP users are unable to disable the Router.
