Email Alert
Email Alert | Select Enable to use the email alert feature. Otherwise, select disable to turn this feature off. |
Denial of Service Threshold | Enter the threshold for Denial threshold from 20 to 100. |
SMTP Mail Server | Enter the SMTP mail server. If you do not know what this is, please check with your ISP. |
Email Address for Alert Address | Enter the email address that will receive the email alert. |
Return Email Address | Enter the return email address. If you do not know what that is, leave it blank. |
Log
the Log screen provides information on all the log activities. A file can also be generated to keep a permanament record of the activities by using logviewer software, which is available on the setup CD or can be downloaded from the Linksys website at http://www.linksys.com/.
Log
Select Yes to log all the Router activities. By default, the log is Disabled.
Logviewer IP Address
Enter the IP address of the PC that is running the logviewer software. To find the IP address of this computer, go to it and run ipconfig or winipcfg. For details, refer to the User Guide.
Incoming log
Click on this button to get a log of all incoming activities. This is useful if you are running a website or FTP server and want to keep track of who came in through the Router.
Outgoing log
Click on this button to get a log of all outgoing activities. This keeps track of all the outgoing traffic and is useful for monitoring a specific website a computer went to based on the local IP address.
View Log
Click on this button to get the following information:
The System Log shows all the system activities such as a warm boot and access to the Router Web-based Utility.
The Access Log keeps track of all incoming and outgoing activities via the Internet.
The Firewall log keeps track of all the firewall activities.
The VPN log keeps track of all the activity of VPN tunnel connection and disconnection.
All shows both system and access log activities.
Click the Save Settings button to save any changes.
