Router Status

This screen provides the Router's current status in a read-only format.

Information

Firmware Version

Show the current firmware in the Router. 

MAC Address

Shows the MAC Address of your Internet interface.

Login Type

This field shows the Internet login status. When you choose PPPoE, RAS PPTP or HBS as the login method, you can click the Connect button to log in. If you click the Disconnect button, the Router will not dial up again until you click the Connect button.

If your connection is DHCP or Static IP, the Status will show you the Internet IP Address, Subnet mask, Default Gateway, DNS 1, and DNS 2.  For DHCP connection, DHCP Release and DHCP Renew will be available to release and renew IP address from the Internet connection. 

Login error messages:

PPPoE:

Cannot Connect to PPPoE server

No PPPoE response from ISP. Check your WAN line or call your ISP for help.

PPPoE LCP negotiation fail

Can't finish PPP Link Control Protocol (LCP) negotiation.

PPPoE authentication fail

Wrong username or password.

Cannot get an IP address from the PPPoE server

Can't finish PPP Internet Protocol Control Protocol (IPCP) negotiation.

 

RAS:

Cannot connect to RAS server

No RAS response from ISP. Check your WAN line or call your ISP for help.

RAS negotiation fails

Can't finish RAS control negotiation.

PPPoE authentication fail

Wrong username or password.

Many sessions active! Try again later

Abnormal disconnection. Wait a moment and dial up again.
