Log

Log screen provides information on all the log activities. A file can also be generated to keep a permanament record of the activity by using logviewer that is available on CD or can be downloaded on the Linksys website at http://www.linksys.com/.

 Log

Select Yes to log all router activities.  By default, the log is Disabled.

Logviewer IP Address

Enter the IP address that is running the log viewer. To find the IP address of the computer running the logviewer, go to the machine and run ipconfig or winipcfg. For details, please look at the Appendix in the User Guide.

Incoming log

Click on this button to get all incoming activity. This is useful if you are running a website or FTP server and want to keep track of who came in through the router.

Outgoing log

Click on this button to get all outgoing activities. this keeps track of all the outgoing traffic. This is useful for doing monitoring a specific website a computer went to based on the local IP address.

View Log

Click on this button to get the following information

System log shows all the system activities such as a warm boot, access to the router web-based utility, and others. 

Access log keeps track of all incoming and outgoing activites in a Internet.

All shows both System and Access log activities.

Click the Save Settings button to save any changes.
