Router Access

Router Password

To ensure the Router’s security, this password protects access to the Router’s browser-based utility. Enter a new password.

Re-enter to confirm

Enter the password again to confirm.

Local Management Access

Access via

Select the protocol for local access.

Access via Wireless

To allow wireless access to the Router’s browser-based utility, keep the default, Enabled.

Remote Management Access

Remote Management

To manage the Router over the Internet, select Enabled.

Access via

Select the protocol for remote access.

Allowed Remote IP Address

To allow access to the Router from any external IP address, select Any IP Address. To specify an external IP address or range of IP addresses, select and complete the IP address range fields.

Remote Management Port

Enter the port number that will be open to remote access.

ALG

SIP

The SIP ALG option allows SIP packets to traverse the NAT firewall. To use the SIP ALG for VoIP service, select Enabled. If your VoIP service provider uses other NAT traversal solutions such as STUN, TURN, or ICE, then keep the default, Disabled.

UPnP

UPnP

UPnP allows the appropriate operating system to automatically configure the Router for various applications, such as online gaming and VoIP calls.

Allow Users to Configure

If you want to be able to make manual changes to the Router while using the UPnP feature, keep the default, Enabled.

Allow Users to Disable Internet Access

To prevent local network users from disabling your Internet connection through the UPnP feature, keep the default, Disabled.

Back Up and Restore

Back Up Configuration

To back up the Router’s configuration settings, click this option and follow the on-screen instructions.

Restore Configuration

To restore the Router’s configuration settings, click this option and follow the on-screen instructions. (You must have previously backed up the Router’s configuration settings.)
